The Dunsmuir Community Resource Center (DCRC) has been serving the Dunsmuir Community since 2001. The center began with support from First 5 Siskiyou, providing programs for newborn children and toddlers. Local students began to hang out after school, and the DCRC incorporated academic assistance and social support for them. Parents started dropping by, and life skills programs and advocacy services were offered. The DCRC expanded their outreach to seniors, providing information and assistance with a variety of senior services.
The DCRC prides itself in providing support, referrals and resources to the entire community.
